Our properties are in the West Michigan lakeshore cities of Muskegon and Norton Shores. Here are some our favorite places to visit and explore in the area.

For hiking, biking and outdoor fun:

• Muskegon State Park (and Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park) 
  
  • We love the seasonal lighted hiking trail; hours available on their website.
• P.J. Hoffmaster State Park
  • Lake Michigan and dune views here are impressive.
• Dune Harbor County Park
  • Walkable from a few of our properties and a wonderful newer county park.
• Lake Harbor Park
  • Hike along the Mona Lake channel and enjoy over 4,000 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline.
• Muskegon Lakeshore Trail
  • This paved trail is perfect for biking.

For dining out (so many great options; these are some of our favorites):

• Coffee
  • Aldea Coffee -- sourced from farmers and roasted here in MI!
  • The Coffee Factory -- serves MadCap coffee and sells books and games. 
  • Overgrown Coffee -- can't decide? You can get coffee or beer here. 
• Breakfast
  • Toast 'N Jams -- known for their strawberry cheesecake pancakes.
  • Mr. B's Pancake House -- family-owned for 50 years!
  • Steak 'N Egger -- comfort food breakfasts are their specialty.
• Lunch
  • Fatty Lumpkins Sandwich Shack -- huge sandwiches and tasty soups.
  • Carmen's Cafe -- diner style restaurant; serves breakfast too.
  • Hobo's Tavern -- serving weekday lunch specials.
• Dinner
  • The Deck -- well known as Muskegon's beachfront restaurant (open seasonally).
  • Pints & Quarts -- sister restaurant to The Deck, this is open in The Deck's off season.
  • Dockers Fish House -- also open seasonally; known for seafood specials.
  • Hearthstone Bistro -- upscale restaurant that likes to "wine & dine."
  • Gael's Mexican Restaurant -- authentic with many combination platters.
  • Rad Dad's Taco & Taquila Bar -- fun vibe and great food (our kids love their walking taco).
  • Socibowl -- delicious food AND fun games. Duckpin bowling, anyone?
• Drinks
  • Pigeon Hill Brewery -- perfect location in downtown Muskegon.
  • Unruly Brewing Co. -- live life unruly, and with great tasting beer. 
  • Wonderland Distilling -- cocktails and food made with handcrafted creativity.
